Although Sunday brought milder conditions and even a little precipitation, the Mullen Fire grew to 77,950 acres over the weekend.

The complex of fires is burning from near the A-Bar-A Ranch in Carbon County to Sheep Mountain in the Centennial Valley.

Dry and gusty weather on Friday and Saturday caused much of the new growth, forcing evacuations and more forest closures. Emma Diercks has the latest.
