In the senate yesterday, Senator Barrasso pressed on with his opposition to President Biden’s nominee to head the Bureau of Land Management.

During a hearing to examine the budget request for the Department of Interior, Senator Barrasso asked Secretary Deb Haaland about the dangers of tree-spiking, and if Tracy Stone-Manning’s involvement in acts of eco-terrorism should disqualify her from the position. Haaland’s discomfort with the line of questioning was obvious.
