In preparation for the eventual move from the Carbon County Courthouse to the Carbon Building, the County Commissioners will pay $186,000 to a company that will digitize all land records, plat maps and decades worth of meeting minutes.

The reason? The collective weight of the hundreds of books containing this data is too great for the second floor of the Carbon Building. Cali O’Hare reports.
