In Rawlins, one of the first issues facing the new city council in 2021 will be whether to reorganize Public Works into two departments with separate directors.

A split, 3-3 decision by the current council earlier this month vote killed the resolution for now. The issue is likely to return.

City Hall is pushing for it, and council members who voted “nay” say they are in favor of the change, but want the incoming council to make the decision. Cali O’Hare has more.
