The warmer weather this weekend is what everybody wanted and needed, except for maybe the Platte Valley Kiwanis Club.

The Kiwanis are hoping for colder temperatures so that the water in its new ice skating rink downtown Saratiga in the American Legion Park will freeze over in time for the grand opening on Saturday. Emma Diercks has the story.
