Hospital cuts ties with current management company

The board of trustees of Memorial Hospital of Carbon County voted unanimously late last week to approve a release agreement with the facility’s management company, Quorum Health Resources. The decision came during a lengthy executive session during a special meeting held Thursday evening. The board also explained additional details of its plan to provide administrative support to the hospital on an interim basis. Cali O’Hare has the latest in this ongoing story.

 

 

New Saratoga Town Council will address standards at jet center

In Saratoga, a new Town Council takes over on Wednesday. One of the items left in limbo from the prior council is a years-old issue of aligning the details in hangar leases to minimum standards at the Saratoga Jet Center. The item came up at the last town council meeting, but was tabled and left to the incoming body. Emma Diercks has been following the issue and filed this report.

Rawlins City Council approves purchase of backup generator for city hall

The Rawlins City Council recently approved a bid for the purchase of a 50 kilowatt standby generator to power City Hall in the event of a prolonged outage. Cali O’Hare has more.

Library foundation seeks volunteers to build Little Free Libraries

The Carbon County Library Foundation is asking local residents to help build Little Free Libraries in their communities to promote literacy. Emma Diercks reports.
