The final recommendations from the Platte Valley Mule Deer Migration Corridor Working Group are set for delivery to Governor Mark Gordon on Monday.

The final plan attempts to prune language from Gordon’s migration Executive Order that could have barred traditional land use in the Platte Valley by hunters, ranchers and recreationists during migration time frames, particularly near the Encampment River and Interstate 80.

Emma Diercks has the committee’s discussion and how the document might influence future migration regulations in Wyoming.
