If going to the forest for fresh air and social distancing is part of your plan for coping with the COVID-19 outbreak, your favorite campground may be closed.

The Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests are closing developed recreation sites until April 30th.

Emma Diercks has more.

Established campgrounds that are closed through the end of April are Bottle Creek, Brush Creek and Ryan Park in Carbon County.

In Albany County on the Laramie Ranger District, Chimney Park, Corner Mountain, Green Rock, Happy Jack and Tie City are off-limits. The closures will be re-evaluated at the end of April.
