A new judge was appointed last week to preside over the municipal court in Rawlins. The Rawlins City Council voted unanimously last Tuesday to appoint an attorney who has long practiced law in Carbon County to the vacant judge position.

On Thursday, a special swearing-in ceremony took place. Cali O’Hare reports.
