The U.S. Forest Service continues hazard tree work in the Sierra Madre and Snowy Ranges into the fall, however, the northern portion of Cedar Pass will open this weekend.

A short closure will be in effect on Deep Jack on Saturday before crews move to Jerry Accord the following week. Emma Diercks has the story.
