The Carbon County Commissioners supported a letter written by the county treasurer urging the Wyoming Department of Revenue to roll out plans on new tax collection from the minerals industry. Monthly ad valorem tax payments will start January 1st, 2022 but county treasurers have several questions that have yet to get answered on distributions.
