Almost a year and a half after Rawlins firefighter Stephanie Schofield was terminated for what officials perceived as threats toward a 911-caller, the Carbon County District Court has ruled the municipality must reinstate her as Fire Shift Captain and pay her all back wages.

Following an executive session Tuesday night, the Rawlins City Council will appeal the decision to the Wyoming Supreme Court. Cali O’Hare has the story.
