The main event during the upcoming legislative session will be the fight over school funding.

K-12 education is facing a $300 million funding gap that is growing wider, and a spending model that some lawmakers said was too rich even during better times.

House District 47 Representative Jerry Paxton met with officials from Carbon County School District Two on Monday and gave them the broad outlines of what the fight will look like. Emma Diercks reports.
