In the next couple weeks, the Carbon County Commissioners are set to hear a request from Rocky Mountain Power PacifiCorp to extend the Gateway West Transmission line from the Shirley Basin to the Carbon and Natrona County lines.
The 20 miles in Carbon County will continue to stretch north, ending outside of Glenrock. Emma Diercks has more.
