Some outdoor musical events in Saratoga have hit sour notes over the years with officials at Town Hall. Securing permits for events has been a sticking point because of the 30-day application deadline currently encoded in the town’s event ordinance.

The Saratoga Planning Commission is reviewing the event application ordinance at the request of town council.

The board took some input from the public at this week’s planning commission meeting and plans to spend a couple months sorting out how to address the different issues that arise out of the current process. Emma Diercks has the story.
