At yesterday’s county commissioners meeting, Saratoga Town Attorney Tom Thompson responded to concerns raised by Town Councilman Jon Nelson earlier this month regarding how the town uses water and sewer funds.

Nelson argued the enterprise funds are restricted for their contracted purpose. Thompson argued that the contract the town has with the joint powers agreement is limited in scope and does not adequately address how the funds are used. Emma Diercks has the story.
