Only one letter has been received from a resident expressing interest in being appointed to the Saratoga Town Council seat vacated last month by Ben Spaulding.
Mayor Creed James read the letter from Kathy Beck who currently is member of the recreation commission and the Platte Valley Community Center Joint Powers Board.
With only one letter received so far after apparently only advertising in the local newspaper, the four remaining members of the governing body decided to put off a decision for two weeks in hopes of hearing from others.
The council will consider filling the vacant seat at its August 16th meeting.
