The Carbon County Sheriff’s office is looking for a 66-year-old man who went missing in the Baggs area 10 days ago.

Kris Mortenson Ziegler was last reported seen on Sunday, July 18th at the intersection of Wyoming Highways 70 and 789. According to a news release from the sheriff’s department, Ziegler was dropped off in Baggs just after dark and has not been in contact with anyone since then.

Sheriff Roybal told Bigfoot 99 that Ziegler is known to have lived in the Baggs area.

 

The sheriff said a deputy and a criminal investigator are working the case. Ziegler is a white male, 5-foot-11-inches in height and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored shirt, blue sweatpants and black lace up boots. To provide or request any additional information, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 324-2776.
