Up to four inches of much needed snow Sunday fell across the length and breadth of the Mullen Fire. The blanket of wet snow put a damper on the flames, at least for now.

The Mullen Fire is listed at 175,564 acres with 27 percent containment as of Monday morning, only growing 29 acres Sunday.

The snow has moved out of the area, and with high winds in the forecast, officials expect the fire to become active again as early as Monday afternoon. Emma Diercks has the latest.
