The thunderstorm which pelted portions of Carbon County with heavy rain Monday afternoon also started four separate fires across the county, sending local resources in just about every direction.

The biggest fire occurred north of Elk Mountain and grew to more than 150 acres before firefighters were able to contain it. Cali O’Hare reports.
