Students score well in WY-TOPP tests

The Wyoming Department of Education released results from the second round of the state’s assessment test.

WY-TOPP scores from the state and county indicated an increase in proficiency rates over most grade levels and content areas. Emma Diercks has the details.

Rawlins street rehab project rolls on

In Rawlins: the summer rehab project continues with closures planned today and tomorrow in Ward 3. On the south side of the city, repairs to the sagging portions of State Street are officially underway. Cali O’Hare has the latest update.

 

 

Saratoga submits impact assistants funding request

The Town of Saratoga submitted its request for impact assistance funds from two new wind development projects. Lucky Star and Two Rivers sites are expected to start construction next spring north of the interstate.

The town is asking for resources to increase law enforcement capabilities. Emma Diercks has the story.

Commissioners adopt design plan

During a special meeting held Monday, county officials listened to the latest update on plans to renovate two county-owned buildings.

The work is part of the county’s 6th Penny Specific Purpose Tax project. Cali O’Hare attended the presentation and filed this report.
