New program helps teens quit tobacco

The state has launched a program to combat a reported growing number of Wyoming teens who use vaping products.

Turns out E-cigarettes are similar to their traditional rolled-up tobacco counterparts in a fundamental way: Both can cause nicotine addiction. So the state health department is promoting a free program that offers customized support and quit plans. Cali O’Hare reports.

Yogis ask Saratoga to waive sound ordinance

A group that promotes yoga is asking the Town of Saratoga to waive its sound ordinance for an event they want to host at the Saratoga Hot Springs Resort.

The town council plans to gather more information about sound levels before making a determination. Emma Diercks has the story.

 

 

Rawlins rec aims to host tournaments with grant funding

In Rawlins: the Department of Recreation is applying for two grants from the Carbon County Visitors Council. If awarded, the funds will be to support two annual tournaments hosted at the Family Recreation Center. Cali O’Hare has more.
