Saratoga Town Council approves lease for medical clinic

It’s been a week of change for healthcare in Saratoga. A temporary clinic opened at the Platte Valley Community Center on Monday. On Tuesday night, the Saratoga Town Council approved a revised lease for the Platte Valley Medical Clinic. Health Management Services is expected to sign the agreement when the company takes over operations of the clinic. The exact date when the takeover will happen remains uncertain. Rawlins residents take a stand against city council over garbage collection

More drama at Rawlins City Hall this week: Residents turned out in force Tuesday night, fearful that officials would hijack the published agenda and make a run at changing the way garbage is collected in town as part of a vendetta against a local business. Cali O’Hare reports.

 

 

Saratoga police officer resigns to join Rawlins PD

Saratoga’s police force is down one officer. Chief Robert Bifano announced Tuesday evening Officer George Philips left for the Rawlins Police Department. Emma Diercks has the story.

Sports: H.E.M. football team looks to wrap up season undefeated

The H.E.M. football team stayed undefeated with a win over then fourth ranked Kaycee last weekend. A miner win on Friday will guarantee them home field advantage in the playoffs. Joey Saverine has the story.
