MHCC partners with UW for nursing program

Memorial Hospital of Carbon County will partner with the University of Wyoming to create a home grown nursing program in Rawlins.

Cali O’Hare spoke with the adjunct UW instructor about the new program and filed this report.

 

 

County approves wind project permits

The County Planning and Zoning Commission approved a conditional use permit for the Two Rivers and Lucky Star wind projects a week after the county commissioners said the company’s applications were incomplete.

The planning and zoning board acknowledged the commissioners’ request for more diligence and included their requirements as conditions in the permit. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

Purple Sage Motel slated for demolition

Changes are coming to West Spruce Street in Rawlins. Last week, the City Council approved a landfill fee waiver for the demolition of what once was the Purple Sage Motel, located near the town’s west entry point.

 

 

Saratoga officially seeking bids for campground improvements

The Saratoga Town Council approved accepting bids for the Saratoga Lake Campground.
