Details of fatal highway crash released

The identity of the Saratoga man who was one of two people killed in Tuesday’s fiery collision on Wyoming 130 was announced yesterday as details of the deadly crash began to emerge. Emma Diercks has the latest.

 

Rawlins city manager resigns from visitors council seat

The City of Rawlins remains without representation on the Carbon County Visitors Council Board of Directors. At Tuesday’s Rawlins City Council meeting, the city manager, whose appointment to the board last month drew widespread criticism because of potential conflicts of interest, resigned his seat. Saratoga councilman: Medical clinic won’t survive without better management

The Platte Valley Medical Clinic was again the topic of discussion at the Saratoga Town Council meeting this week when a resident asked why the decision was made not to renew the lease of the current doctor, Dr. Bryan Kaiser. Emma Diercks reports that Councilman Will Faust responded saying that he does not believe the clinic can survive on its own, the way it has in the past.

Rawlins city officials vote to keep funds with Bank of the West

The Rawlins City Council this week opted to keep the municipality’s money with Bank of the West after hearing from the local branch manager who made an appearance at Tuesday’s meeting. Cali O’Hare reports.
