Illegal immigrant pleads guilty to identity theft in Rawlins

An illegal immigrant in Rawlins pleaded not guilty in District Court Monday to unlawfully using the identity of another person for six the last six years. Emma Diercks has the story.

Construction crews overhaul Bi-Rite for new medical clinic

In Rawlins, the transformation of the old Bi-Rite Pharmacy into a new family practice clinic for the hospital is well underway. In August of 2018, the Carbon County Memorial Hospital Board of Trustees purchased the building. It hired LM Olsen contractors for the remodel project. Since then, construction crews have been busy with a major overhaul to the building’s interior. On Monday, Bigfoot 99’s Cali O’Hare took a tour of the facility and filed this report.

 

 

Flu season in full swing, worst may be yet to come

Medical providers are reporting an uptick of flu activity has picked up around the nation and across the Cowboy state. However, the Wyoming Department of Health says while the state has seen fewer cases than it did this time last year, the peak could still be coming. Emma Diercks reports.

Rawlins airport committee hosting public meetings

The Rawlins Airport Master Plan Advisory Committee is hosting three public open houses. The meetings are an effort to receive feedback from area residents regarding the future of the local airport. Cali O’Hare has more.
