Tuesday morning the Southern Area Type I Blue Team took over command of the Mullen Fire.

Firefighters will continue to work fire lines as the fire meteorologist expect less windy days ahead.

Local officials are making proactive plans to assist residents of Ryan Park, should winds change direction and push the fire west. Emma Diercks has the latest.
