Missing equipment, records cause drama flare up in Saratoga medical clinic transition

In Saratoga, just when the drama appeared to be over, more trouble has developed with the transition at the Platte Valley medical clinic. The Town of Saratoga has given the police a list of items believed stolen from the Corbett Medical Building by the previous operator, Dr. Bryan Kaiser.

Additionally, the new operator, Health Management Services, says medical forms it requested for patients have not been provided by Kaiser. Emma Diercks has the latest development in this ongoing story.

New WGFD game warden covering Rawlins area

There’s a new game warden to cover the big West Rawlins District. John Pokallus has been on the job since September when his predecessor, Teal Cufaude, transferred to Saratoga as a biologist with Wyoming Game and Fish. Cali O’Hare caught up with the new warden and filed this report.

 

 

Crews begin work on connecting USFS office to Saratoga water and sewer system

In Saratoga, a construction crew mobilized Monday to connect the U.S. Forest Service Brush Creek Hayden Ranger District to the town’s water and sewer system. Emma Diercks reports that the project should be completed shortly after the New Year.

 

 

Volunteers wanted for Starlight Christmas Parade in Rawlins

A close call at a Rawlins parade earlier this year resulted in changes to all future parades. Under the new rules, volunteers are needed to hand out candy during the upcoming Starlight Christmas Parade. Cali O’Hare has more.
