The second week of outdoor track season gets underway today. We’ll see if Mother Nature cooperates.

The Green River Invite started at 11 a.m. this morning with field events. Track starts at 12:30 p.m. Schools slated to compete are Big Piney, Encampment, Evanston, Farson-Eden, Green River, H.E.M., Jackson, Kemmerer, Little Snake River, Lyman, Rawlins, Rock Springs, Saratoga

3A Soccer on Saturday has Rawlins at Mountain View matchup at 1 p.m. It will be the first game of the season for the Outlaws. Mountain View plays Lander tomorrow in a conference matchup.

The results from last weekend’s Wind River Invite were delayed, but we have them now:
Quade Jordan of Encampment was a 1A qualifier in discus and shot put.
Noah Rimmer of Saratoga qualified in shot put.

To the girls side with qualifying marks:
Taylar Scott of H.E.M. qualified in two events: The 100 meter dash with a time of 13.2, as well as the triple jump.
Whitney Bennett of Saratoga had qualifying marks in both the long jump and in the triple jump.

The H.E.M. Relays team put up a qualifying time 4×800 Meter relay. The Miners team includes: Avery Scott, Tylsa Sloaas, Rainey Wilson and Madison Campbell.
