Engineer previews Saratoga’s new water master plan

A draft for a new Saratoga water master plan is anticipated to be ready for review early next month. At the water and sewer board’s meeting last week, an engineer offered a preview of the recommendations he will make to improve to the town’s water infrastructure system. Urban mule deer committee to give first report this week

After about four months of work, the Rawlins Urban Mule Deer Advisory Group is ready to provide its first report to city council. Cali O’Hare has an update on the work so far.

Encampment working on memorandum of understanding

The Town of Encampment has started conversations with Carbon County Planning and Development Department to develop a memorandum of understanding.

Like the Saratoga MOU that is currently pending approval, the Encampment document puts in writing the town’s ability to provide public input on developments outside the municipal limits. Emma Diercks reports.

Paint Party Palooza this Saturday

Three local artists are coming together to host Paint Party Palooza in Rawlins this weekend. The event aims to raise enough money for the Art Street Project to finish filing as a nonprofit with the State of Wyoming. Cali O’Hare has more.
