The Hanna Town Marshall’s Office is applying for three grants. If approved, the money would pay for new equipment and training on school safety. Emma Diercks has the story.
Rawlins officials review proposed budget
Rawlins city officials this week worked through a number of proposed expenditures under consideration for the upcoming fiscal year.
Much of the nearly $37 million in the budget will go toward capital improvements. Cali O’Hare was at the session where officials looked at the wish list from each city department.
Engineers provide update on Encampment lagoon project
The Encampment Town Council is moving forward with plans make improvements to the municipality’s lagoon system.
Revenues from the sixth penny tax will pay for the project. The first step is to dredge the cells in the system. Emma Diercks has the story.
Rawlins cleanup day tomorrow
Cleanup on Ward 3: In Rawlins, a citizen-led group will team up with city officials tomorrow to do some spring cleaning as part of the first annual “Get ‘Er Done Days.”
Tomorrow’s cleanup is the first of four scheduled between now and the end of August. Cali O’Hare says everyone is invited tomorrow, especially residents in Ward 3.
