Rawlins officials move forward with Tin Can Hill pond plans
Rawlins City Council is on its way to adopting a $36 million budget for the fiscal year that starts July 1, 2019. At its last meeting in May, council members voted unanimously on first reading to approve the budget without amendments.
The $36,825,341 worth of spending includes $200,000 in grant funding for the construction of the fishing pond at Tin Can Hill. Cali O’Hare reports.

Saratoga Mayor refuses to comment on healthcare committee letter
Saratoga Mayor John Zeiger said Tuesday he will not comment on a letter drafted by the Healthcare Sustainability Committee demanding more transparency.
The reason, Zeiger said, is that Health Management Services has threatened litigation over the possible termination of its lease to operate the town medical clinic. Emma Diercks has the story.
