Saratoga officials moving forward with new budget
The Saratoga Town Council has worked since April to develop a budget for the upcoming fiscal year.
At their last meeting, council members passed on first reading a spending plan with $2.5 million in anticipated revenues. Emma Diercks has the story.
Landfill prepares for Free Dump Days
In Rawlins, the five-man crew at the municipal landfill is gearing up for next week’s Free Dump Days in the city.

Saratoga VFD begins training with new equipment
The Saratoga Fire Department is starting to receive the gear that was financed through the town and fundraising efforts.
The volunteer firefighters are training on the equipment so they are ready for the next call. Emma Diercks has the story.
New exhibit honors Carbon County women
The Carbon County Museum in Rawlins will unveil its newest exhibit during a special invite-only ceremony scheduled for tonight.
On Wednesday, museum staff were seen preparing the space for the new installation that celebrates the “grace, grit and guts” of Carbon County women. The new exhibit opens to the public Friday morning. Cali O’Hare has more.
