Saratoga hires new accounting firm
The Saratoga Town Council will terminate its relationship with the Denver-based accounting firm it now uses to audit the municipality’s books.
Council, not satisfied with answers to questions it has about the financials, will hire a Cheyenne firm to review the books. Emma Diercks reports.

Rawlins City Council is purchasing $44,000 worth of new equipment to better maintain green spaces in the city, including parks, the municipal golf course and the cemetery. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Saratoga’s annual battle against mosquitoes is underway. Town crews started fogging for the biting bloodsuckers last night.
Operations will take place throughout the summer on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Emma Diercks reports.

Sports: Panthers host football camp for all students
Last week Saratoga football coach Logan Wright put on a camp for all skill levels – from kids wanting to try the sport for the first time, all the way up to incoming senior varsity players. Joey Saverine caught up the Panther’s skipper and filed this report.
