Rawlins officials address trash hauler controversies
The Rawlins City Council this week worked to clarify the vague language contained in an ordinance regulating trash haulers.
Ambiguities in the Title 8 code have allowed officials to impose different requirements on the two companies licensed by the municipality haul trash.
The apparent double standard has raised questions about whether City Hall plays favorites. Cali O’Hare was at the work session and filed this report.
County begins maintenance on Hanna Draw Road
The condition of the Hanna Draw Road has been a topic of discussion at almost every Carbon County Commissioner meeting since January. Some of those discussions have been pointed and seemingly personal at times, but a long term solution appears in sight.
