Healthcare committee proposes hospital location

If a critical access can be built in the Platte Valley, the local healthcare committee plans to put it on Highway 130 just south of the Saratoga town limits.

The facility would have 21 extended care beds and four for acute care. Emma Diercks has the story.

Rawlins residents team up to clean up

In Rawlins: Citizens and city officials will team up next weekend for the final trash cleanup of the summer. Organizers say that by the time the summer is over, Rawlins residents will have removed close to two tons of trash from all three wards. Cali O’Hare has more.

I-80 toll conversation continues

For the last several years, the Wyoming legislative interim joint transportation committee has discussed putting a toll on Interstate 80.

The item is again being discussed, with draft legislation set to go to this year’s session. Emma Diercks reports.

 

 

Sports: Pokes scrimmage this weekend

The Wyoming football team will practice one more time before their scrimmage on Saturday. The practice game will solidify the first depth chart ahead of the Missouri game. Joey Saverine has the latest from the Gem City.
