Hanna Draw Road improvements approved

The Carbon County Commissioners last week approved the purchase of gravel to lay on the Hanna Draw Road. County Road 270, which was also considered for this project, will have to wait until spring to receive fresh rock. Emma Diercks has the story.

Editor’s note: After this story first aired, Interim Road and Bridge Superintendent Kandis Fritz clarified that the CMAQ grant that the county applied for to gravel CR 291 and 270 is for $400,000—not the $2 million dollar figure stated in the story. The county’s match is $80,000. We apologize for the error.
