Details emerge in train derailment
No injuries or toxic spills were reported in Thursday’s early morning train derailment near Medicine Bow. The Union Pacific Railroad notified Carbon County officials about the crash, but because the damage was limited and contained, local emergency management response teams were not dispatched to the scene. Gas funds will help improve outdoor areas in Rawlins
In Rawlins, city officials plans to use its $10,000 in Wyoming Community Gas funds to repair the playground equipment at Tully Park near the hospital and to convert the 6th Street pedestrian tunnel into a second outdoor art gallery. Cali O’Hare has the details.

Local governments and related agencies that expected impact assistance funds from the Boswell Springs wind energy project will settle for less than they originally anticipated.
