The primary elections are not far off. The filing period for county or municipal office begins a week from Thursday.
The county clerk’s office also noted elections could look differently this year due to the coronavirus. Emma Diercks reports.
UPDATE:
In Riverside, if a candidate is interested in filing for office, please call 327-5266. A nomination application will be available when they come to the town hall.
In Dixon, the town hall is open. The clerk will accept applications as usual. The town hall will be disinfected after every visitor. Those are sick are asked to stay a home.
