Public meetings are slated to start next month to discuss changes to the FEMA flood insurance maps.

Homes and property once not listed in the floodplain, may now be reclassified. The change could affect insurance requirements. The meetings will take place September 14th, 15th and 16th via Zoom.

Emma Diercks reports.
