A Rawlins doctor has expressed concern over the potential health effects of the low frequency microwave radiation produced from a 100-foot cell phone tower soon to be installed between his house and Fire Station #1.

At a city council meeting this week, Dr. Gregory Johnson spoke out against the project, which was approved last month. Cali O’Hare reports.

Additional information about the potential health effects of cell tower radiation, visit the International Association of Fire Fighters website, here: https://www.iaff.org/cell-tower-radiation/

Pictured above: Dr. Gregory Johnson expresses his concerns about the health effects of long term exposure to low-intensity radio frequency micro waves which will be emitted from a 99-foot cell tower to be installed between his back yard and Rawlins Fire Station #1. It’s not cancer Dr. Johnson is worried about; he’s concerned because health effects such as changes in neurotransmitters which affect motivation and pain perception, lack of impulse control, decreased memory, attention span and reaction time, as well as adverse changes in behavior and neural electrophysiology have been documented in international studies on cell towers by the International Association of Fire Fighters.
