With late, heavy snows this winter and the wettest months ahead, Carbon County officials are working with the National Weather Service to prepare for high water, especially downriver of the Mullen Fire burn scar.
Emergency Management Coordinator Lenny Layman reports 90 percent of that drainage dumps into the North Platte River. Emma Dierks reports on preparations through March.
