The Rawlins Police Department continues efforts to enhance its communications center with added programs. The newest is called Smart911.
Rawlins residents who opt in to the program can set up a safety profile with critical information that, in the event they need to call 911, will appear on the dispatcher’s computer and allow for faster and better emergency response.
Cali O’Hare sat down with the communications supervisor for a demonstration of the new program and filed this report.
