Students at Rawlins Middle School will send tens of thousands of metallic tabs that they collected from cans to be recycled for the Denver Ronald McDonald House.
The homeroom classes competed against one another to collect the most tabs throughout February. For one 12-year-old, the challenge hit close to home. Cali O’Hare has the story.
