In Saratoga, Erik Nelson has passed away at the age of 81.
Born in Denver on March 14, 1941, Erik was adopted by Dr. John Nelson and Marion Nelson. He earned two degrees from Colorado State University where he became a life-long Rams fan. After working for several years at the Cedar Creek Ranch, Erik became the owner of the Rustic Bar on Bridge Street in Saratoga. He owned the popular establishment for nearly 40 years.
A celebration of life will be on Sunday, December 18th from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Rustic.
