It’s a sure sign of summer. The Centennial Visitor Center at the gateway to the Medicine Bow National Forest opened for the season Thursday on the east side of the Snowy Range.

The popular visitor center is located just west of Centennial on the Snowy Range Scenic Byway on Highway 130.

Hours of operation are Thursday through Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
