BYU shot lights out in the second half, but it wasn’t enough to defeat the Cowgirls who come away with an 86-74 win at the arena Auditorium.

Wyoming led 41-28 at the half, but needed to close out the game on a 23-10 run after the Cougars took a 64-63 lead.

Head Coach Heather Ezell said she called a timeout after BYU took the lead to get her team to settle down and focus.

Next up is another big-time test for the Cowgirls. They travel to Oklahoma State for a noon, Mountain Time contest Sunday, December 3 in Stillwater.
