The Cowgirls close out their regular season tonight at San Diego State.
On the line tonight, for the Wyoming women, is seeding for next week’s Mountain West Tournament in Las Vegas. Two things have to happen for UW to clinch No. 2 seed heading in to the tourney. The Cowgirls need to win tonight and New Mexico must lose at Fresno State. Wyoming can lock down no worse than the No. 3 seed with a win tonight over the Aztecs.
Also on the schedule tonight is senior night for the Cowboy basketball team. The Pokes host Air Force inside the Arena Auditorium. Prior to tipoff, the Cowboys will honor five seniors, including Kenny Foster, Sam Griffin, Akuel Kot, Mason Walters and Brendan Wenzel. The first 1,000 fans will receive a limited-edition Cowboy Basketball Bobblehead.
Wyoming heads into the contest with a 13-16 overall record and a 6-10 mark in conference play after falling at Colorado State on Saturday. The Cowboys will close out the regular season on Saturday against Fresno State.
Bigfoot 99 will be on the air tonight at 6 p.m. Tipoff is set for 6:30.
