In Rawlins, officials on Wednesday announced that Allen Robinson has been named Fire Chief for the city.
Robinson is originally from a four-generation ranching family in Uinta County. He has served in the Rawlins Fire Department since 1999.
According to his bio, Robinson moved to Rawlins in 1991 while working for Ricoh. He began volunteering for the Volunteer Fire Department in 1999 and joined as a full-time Fire Engineer in 2001. Robinson was promoted to Shift Captain in 2007 and Battalion Chief in 2019. Robinson is also active in the first-responder community throughout the State.
Robinson is married to Karianne Robinson and is the proud father of four.
Robinson said, “I have been part of the Rawlins community for a long time now and will strive to continue to provide high-quality service to anyone in need.”
