In Washington, D.C., Wyoming Senator John Barrasso, appearing on national television Tuesday morning, referred to President Joe Biden as a “lawless president” who has harmed the nation with the invasion of at least 10-million illegal immigrants and the lethal street drugs they and others are smuggling into the nation.
Senator Barrasso appeared on Tuesday’s broadcast of “Morning with Maria” Bartiromo on Fox News. Barrasso revealed that he has called a meeting of other Congressional leaders and Donald Trump to discuss a legislative strategy to pursue following November’s presidential election and a projected Republican win.
Barrasso referred to Joe Biden as the “president of high prices.” American families are suffering, the senator said, because of the economy and the third-world crime syndicates that the president has flooded the nation with during his first term in office.
NBC News, meanwhile, reports that Trump will meet in the morning with House Republicans at the Capitol Hill Club. The former president will then meet with Republican senators in the afternoon after addressing the Business Roundtable, a lobbying group.
House Speaker Mike Johnson and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell have both said they plan to attend the meetings.
Senator John Barrasso, R-Wyo., who is No. 3 in the Senate Republican leadership, told fellow GOP senators in an e-mail, “”I believe it will be helpful to hear directly from President Trump about his plans for the summer and to also share our ideas for a strategic governing agenda in 2025.”
